Wook keeps things raw and rooted in the craft. He builds his beats by chopping and flipping samples the old fashioned way, working hands on with an MPC. His sound drifts between jazz and hip hop, with a focus on groove, texture and swing. There is a real sense of intention in the way he pieces things together, giving his productions a timeless, analogue feel.
