House Engineer: Lui Peng
Having studied at Abbey Road Institute, Lui has spent more than a decade working across the spectrum of contemporary music. His work has accumulated millions of streams, and he has collaborated with artists in a wide range of genres, from stripped back acoustic projects to full scale commercial productions. He brings technical precision, a sharp musical ear, and a clear understanding of what makes a record connect.

1. How do I book a session at 4DM?
You can send us a message through the website or Instagram. Let us know what you need, your preferred dates and the service you want. We’ll confirm availability and lock it in with you.

2. What services do you offer?
We provide mixing, mastering, vocal production, music production, recording sessions and creative development. As working musicians, we’ve built a trusted network of artists, engineers and visual creatives.
This allows us to offer a more complete service, including premium photography for press shots, tailored content creation and high quality video work when your project calls for it.
3. Can I bring my own producer or engineer?
Yes. You’re welcome to bring your own team. Just let us know in advance so we can make sure the space is set up properly for the session.
4. How far in advance should I book?
Sessions tend to fill quickly, especially evenings and weekends. If you have a fixed deadline or release plan, we recommend booking at least a week or 2 in advance so we can secure the right engineer or producer, and allocate the time your project deserves.
5. What do I need to prepare for my session?
FOR ARTISTS: You only need to bring yourself and any reference tracks you want us to hear.
FOR PRODUCERS & ENGINEERS: We run everything through a Universal Audio X6 which requires a thunderbolt port (2/3) and the relevant software. To save time, please download UA Connect and installing the UAD software and Console prior to your session.
If you are not recording and only producing, you can simply plug in through the aux and work straight away.
